Feeling overwhelmed by persistent sadness, anxiety, inadequacy, or trust issues in a relationship? Struggling to communicate with your partner, feeling unheard or disconnected? If so, you don’t have to figure things out alone.

I specialize in helping adults with unresolved trauma, particularly those who grew up in dysfunctional homes characterized by parental conflict, addiction, or mental health issues. I guide you in identifying unresolved wounds and understanding their connection to your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This insight is crucial for processing trauma, reducing triggers, and fostering healthier behaviors.

As a mother of three and the wife of a professional sports referee, I understand the challenges faced by couples and families in unique circumstances. I help couples navigate betrayal and recurring conflicts, guiding them to rebuild trust, intimacy, and connection. We work to create a safe space for vulnerability and emotional intimacy, exploring hidden fears and insecurities. I provide tools for facilitating difficult conversations, ensuring both partners feel heard and validated. Couples learn to manage emotional reactions and empathize with each other’s needs. When infidelity is involved, we explore the events leading to trust issues, validate pain, recognize the impact of actions while accepting the responsibility for them, and set clear boundaries to facilitate reconnection for both parties.

I utilize techniques from Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, DBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Brainspotting. I integrate holistic, neurobiological, trauma-informed methods, which consider the relationship between the brain, body, environment, and social interactions. This allows you to acknowledge how past traumas impact the brain’s functioning today. I also believe in the transformative power of integrating faith into therapy and can seamlessly incorporate a Christian perspective if that aligns with your beliefs.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for open communication and accountability. Asking for help isn’t a sign of weakness but the opposite; it’s a sign of strength. If you’re ready for support, contact my office to schedule a session. We can work through this together.
