    Don Snow, M.Ed., LPC

While it can be difficult to admit when we are struggling. In a world that can be harsh and unforgiving, we may learn to believe that showing vulnerability means we are weak. That if we share our fears and anxieties with others, that we are burdening them, or giving them ammunition to use against us in the future. These are all common beliefs held by clients when I first see them. Asking for help is not easy. I want you to know that while it may not feel like it, the fact that you are reading this right now is evidence of strength, not weakness. It proves you are working to better your life. I want to help you achieve that.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. As a native Houstonian, I have spent much of my professional career prior to receiving his Master’s degree working with those suffering from mental illness, primarily within the homeless population.

I have a wealth of experiencing working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and am dedicated to helping those in need. While I most commonly utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral approach, I believe in the importance of remaining open to utilizing other techniques and theoretical orientations to best serve the patients on an individual basis. I welcome those seeking assistance with depression, anxiety, adolescent issues, difficulties with adjustment, anger management, post-traumatic stress, and substance abuse disorder.

    Education
I completed my Master’s degree in Education for Counseling at the University of Houston and have primarily completed my practicum and internship at Fowler and Tidwell Counseling.
