Mary Kidd, LPC Associate

Supervised by Jenai Tidwell, LPC Supervisor
As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I believe you already hold the answers within you. My role is to walk beside you as a guide, offering a safe and collaborative space to sort through the hard parts. I utilize a variety of approaches to bring relief and insight, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. My eleven years of experience in the mental health field—from psychiatric hospitals to private practice—have given me the tools to support you through crisis intervention, major life transitions, and beyond.
I specialize in working with clients navigating the challenges of pre- and postnatal mental health, infertility, and grief. Whether you’re struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, or the emotional highs and lows of bipolar disorder, I’ll meet you where you are. Together, we’ll build a path forward that feels hopeful and sustainable, helping you find your way back to yourself.
I am an eclectic therapist, which means I draw from multiple therapeutic tools to assist clients in making the changes they desire. In addition to CBT and DBT, I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My therapeutic philosophy is simple: the client is the expert on their own life. I am merely meant to guide you to your own insight and answers.
