Shanell Bradley is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate and a Certified School Counselor within the state of Texas. She is originally from East Texas but has been living in Houston for two years. Although she has been living in Houston for a short amount of time, she is no stranger to the city. She has a passion to serve and work within the Houston area.
Shanell aims to create a welcoming and safe environment for her clients. She helps her clients through a cognitive-behavioral approach but will tailor her techniques to match the unique needs of her clients. Her areas of expertise include issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, women’s issues, life transitions, trauma, grief, and self-esteem.
Education
Shanell received her Masters in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston in May 2020. She completed two internships during her time there. The first one at Santa Maria Hostel working to empower women with a history of drug abuse, homelessness, domestic violence, and Children’s Protective Services involvement. The second internship she worked was at GDI Enterprises, Inc. with children in the foster care system ages 3-13 years old.
Shanell is in a number of organizations including the American Counseling Association, Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling, Lone Star State School Counselor Association, Infinite Essence Nonprofit Organization, and Inspiring Victims of Abuse (IVA).
